The Pros and Cons of Apple Cider Vinegar in the Cure of Gastritis
Is apple cider vinegar good for gastritis? Apple cider vinegar is considered as an ancient “folk” remedy. The recent studies on this compound have shown positive health benefits and provides key ingredients for improving gastric problems. It gives increased energy, improves gastrointestinal health, works as an anti-fungal agent, and decreases triglyceride levels.

As a result, healthy bacteria like Lactobacillus are able to flourish. Also there are additional benefits with ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar). Is apple cider vinegar bad for gastritis?
Sometimes ACV can have bad effects if taken with other ingredients like cranberry juice. So if you are allergic to acidic products, then neutralize the acid of apple cider vinegar with baking soda. But always listen to your body. Do the “Apple Fast” if you see the benefits of ACD for some time and worsens later.
In another forum, a patient reported that ACD made the gastritis symptoms more worse. Generally, the pH of aloe vera is 4, while that of ACV is 2.4. So this makes the acidic nature of stomach more bad. But we have seen earlier, the compound that is released is hydrochloric acid, which aids in better digestion.

From the research I have done, I have found several cases, where things got worse with ACV. So you should gradually reduce the dosage, in that case, instead of completely absconding it. But few people reported, that they had good results while using ACV, though not completely cured.
